Crystals have been around for thousands of years in Egypt, Greece, and China and is said to help aid with healing by rebalancing the body's electromagnetic field. Many people use crystals for stress and mental clarity while others believe crystals have the power to heal physical ailments and illness. Before you start your healing sessions your crystals must be clean and charged.
Place Your Crystal in the Moonlight or Sunlight
To purify the crystal, place it where it will sit directly in the light. Allow your crystal to be exposed to light for 24 hrs. Make sure it receives an adequate amount of light if not sure let crystal sit longer.
You can use the sunlight to charge your crystal for action or love and passion, awakening. Use moonlight for healing and reflecting.
You can charge your crystal with other crystals. Just simply create a circle using several crystals and place the crystal in the center of the circle and leave there for 24 hrs. If you want your crystal to be charged with Earth's Energy, then place it in your garden or bury in soil (e.g. plant)
Use Energy
Direct your own energy. In a quiet place imagine your aura entering the crystal.
Direct your Thoughts. Close your eyes and imagine the crystal becoming a big beam of light.
Pray for your crystal to become charged with powers to heal.
Crystals can also be charged with intention or Reiki.
Remove Negative Energy
The simplest way to remove negative energy from your crystal is to wash it in salt water. This will help to purify your crystals.
Dissolve 1tsp. of salt in lukewarm water and place the crystal in the water. Rinse with fresh water and pat dry with clean towel.
Smudging is another option. Try burning a white sage stick. Hold your crystal above the smoke. white sage smudge kit Allow the smoke to surround the crystal for a few minutes for purification.
